California Toast is the brainchild of the more creative of the two partners of the Two Umbrellas Café. After sampling the French toast recipes from three continents, Manny developed his recipe highlighting the best characteristics of all he had tasted. He makes this homemade egg bread from a recipe perfected over the seventeen years the Two Umbrellas has been in Long Beach.
